Vegetable plant varieties suitable for container gardening

When looking for seed make sure you read the label to make sure that what you plant in your container will grow in the needed space. For examble: you would grow baby carrots in a shollow container, you would grow tomatoes that have a deep root sytem in a deep container. Will the seed produce a vine that will need a trellice?  Every year Seed companies come out with new vegetable plant varieties suitable for growing in small spaces and vegetable container gardens.
