Starter Hydroponics Unit from Born Again Gardens

This self-contained unit will get you started and introduce you to Hydroponics. This is a flood and drain system that uses a "Bell Syphon" which does not require any mechanical device. The container below is filled with water and liquid fertilizer that feeds the plants. The pump floods the planting bed and the bell syphon drains it automatically without the use of any mechanical device.

The planting bed is made up of pea gravel placed inside a bin. A hole is place in the center where the Bell Syphon is attached. A pipe is placed along the bed to distribute the water evenly from the pump in the fertilized water tank below.
